The Remote Control System allows Powerlouvre™ Windows in either an Easyscreen™ Window System or in Component Form to be opened and closed with a single click of a
button or stopped in any intermediate position depending on the amount of airflow required by the user.
Multiple Powerlouvre™ Windows can also be operated simultaneously or independently by hand held Remote Controls.
Powerlouvre™ Remote Receivers
Concealed within the head of the Easyscreen™ Window System, the Remote Receiver acts as a switch, directing power to up to 2 different banks of
Powerlouvre™ motors within each Powerlouvre™ Window.
One Remote Receiver is required per Powerlouvre™ Window. Each Remote Receiver can have multiple Remote Controls associated with it.
Powerlouvre™ Remote Receiver Unit
When Component Powerlouvre™ Windows are used, Remote Receivers are housed in an external protective plastic
casing to protect the receiver from damage due to electrostatic discharge.
24V DC Power must be supplied continuously to the Remote Receiver Unit and either 1 or 2
groupings of up to 6 Powerlouvre™ Motors per grouping can be controlled by each Remote Receiver Unit.
Note: If 2 groupings of Powerlouvre™ Motors are connected they can only be operated sequentially, not simultaneously.
Powerlouvre™ Remote Controls
Hand held remote controls (shipped with convenient wall holders) emit radio signals that are received
by the Remote Receiver. Their effective range in most circumstances
will be 10-20m.
Banks of louvres can be operated with a single click or stopped in any intermediate position. Standard Remote Controls can operate a single window or multiple windows simultaneously. Advanced Remote Controls can operate up to 6 groupings of multiple windows independently.
For remote control configuration examples, please refer to the Powerlouvre section in the Breezway Design Manual.
Remote Controls are initially associated to Powerlouvre™ Windows prior to leaving the Breezway Factory. However, if additional Remote Controls are required to be associated to or disassociated from the window after it is installed, a set of instructions are available on our technical page to assist with this simple and easy process.
Ordering Requirements
As Breezway offers a single supplier solution to your automation needs, it is compulsory that a configuration form be filled out prior to ordering to ensure the installation process is made as simple as possible. The configuration form can be downloaded from the technical page.
Please contact your local Breezway Representative on 1800 777 758 if you require further assistance.
The Breezway Remote Control System uses rolling code which effectively means that different codes are used each time the Remote Control sends a signal to associated Powerlouvre™ Windows while still remaining synched together.
For information regarding Powerlouvre™ Window technical specifications or cabling requirements, please refer to the Powerlouvre section of the Breezway Design Manual.
