Designed to mechanically retain blades without obstructing outdoor views, the Stronghold System improves blade retention and minimises the risk of blades being dislodged when installed above four metres.

The Stronghold System is compatible with the Altair Powerlouvre Window and has no impact on minimum or maximum sizes.

Tested to ensure superior performance
Altair Louvres with the Stronghold System have been tested to AS2047 “Windows in Buildings”. Static load testing to AS1170 has also been conducted to ensure superior performance on balconies, offices and external high level areas. Depending on the blade type, testing of Stronghold has achieved a load of 700N and up to 1500N in the open position.
Standard Aluminium Window Heights
The standard heights of Breezway Window Systems with Altair Stronghold Louvres are identical to the standard heights of Breezway Window Systems with regular Altair Louvres. Please see the Frames & Sizes page for a copy of the Altair Louvre standard height chart.
Window Size Constraints
Altair Product Performance Warranty size constraints for Ultimate Limit State Pressure, Serviceability Limit State Pressure and Water Pass must be adhered to in order to ensure compliance with AS2047.
