Beach House Reinvention Using Breezway Louvre Windows

A relaxed, light and airy renovation/extension of an existing beach shack by Tempus Design Studio takes in the natural beauty of the coastal location and breathtaking views.
This design has a distinct focus on family holidays and relaxed beach living. The Beach House reinvention is simple yet functional with the incorporation of the existing beach house which was built by the client’s father 40 years ago and holds a special place in the client’s heart.
Large stacking sliding doors fuse the indoor living areas with the outdoor patio seamlessly. The Master suite and guest bedroom’s boast sliding stacking doors opening up to let the uninterrupted sunshine and ocean breezes pour in. Breezway Louvre Windows also assist with natural cross flow ventilation into the house.
This project won the BDAQ Regional Design Awards 2018 – Residential Alterations/Additions: Houses up to $350,000 Construction Cost.
