Mooloomba, Inspired By The Beach “Shack”

Mooloomba, Queensland, Australia

85 Mooloomba draws its inspiration from the character of the local “shack” that defines North Stradbroke Island and creates the feel that all visitors wish to recreate in their holiday experience.

This design is deliberately simple in its idea and pragmatic in its choice of material, with the emphasis on light and indoor/outdoor living. Expressed trusses, detailed shutters and rich hardwood accents draw from familiar themes which reference beach living.

Altair Louvre Windows are a perfect inclusion into such a design as they open wide to allow fresh coastal breezes in to cool the home without the need for air conditioning.
