Spectacular Views from the Lagoon House

BRIBIE ISLAND, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA

Situated at the entry of the main canal at Pacific Harbour on Bribie Island, the Lagoon House exudes ‘wow factor’. The client’s brief was for a ‘5 Star Resort Style Home’ that had water views from every room, and the spectacular views are just the start of the incredible features of this home.

Designed by Brisbane based Robin Payne Building Design, a man-made lagoon wraps the edges of the home, encasing the living area and 3 of the 4 guest suites so the water is literally on the home’s doorstep. In the open plan kitchen, living and dining, frameless glass walls slide away, seamlessly connecting the interior and exterior spaces and allowing the tropical gardens and breathtaking water vista to seem almost touchable. Breezway Altair Louvre Windows also assist with the uninterrupted connection between indoors and outdoors whilst providing plenty of airflow when required.

The opulent master suite certainly meets the ‘5 Star Resort’ brief. Dark timber flooring adds to the tropical ambience and timber paneling on the walls adds a richness and warmth to the room as well as architectural interest. Breezway Powerlouvre Windows are installed up high next to fixed lite glazing to allow the hot built-up air to escape and cool refreshing breezes to flow in, even when the sliding doors are shut. This helps keep the room at a comfortable temperature no matter what time of day it is.

A very generous building site of nearly 1800sqm has allowed every imaginable luxury appointment to be included in this fabulous home. Guests can also retreat to their own private sanctuaries with each of the four suites also incorporating an en-suite, kitchenette, and private balcony offering stunning views – a true 5 star experience.
