House Renovation featuring the new IGLU System

CARDWELL, NORTH QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA

This renovated house by PD Designs belongs to the Cardwell School Principal, located just north of Townsville. With over 45 years’ experience in the building design and construction industry, award-winning designer, Peter Dall’Alba and his team have done a great job transforming this tired, run down property into an innovative, modern outtake on a Queenslander design.

The team at PD Designs worked closely with the client to deliver a refurbishment project that required a window system which offered maximium ventilation from the existing openings and was also able to reduce traffic noise from the highway that the property fronted.

The new IGLU Double Glazed Louvre System by Breezway fitted this application perfectly. The IGLU System was being developed at the time of this project and the team at Breezway were able to work together with DP Designs to ensure that the testing and manufacture of sizes required were prioritised to meet the deadlines.
