Maximum Ventilation
Natural ventilation is important in any home or working environment. It helps keep the air we breathe clean and fresh whilst maintaining a connection with our outdoor environment. The unique design of the Altair IGLU Double Glazed Louvre opens twice as wide as other window types to offer maximum ventilation to naturally cool a living or working space without the need for artificial air conditioning systems.

High Energy Performance
The 22mm IGLU Blade, compromising of 5mm Low E glazing, 12mm Argon Gas filled spacer, and another layer of 5mm Low E offers the highest thermal performance of any residential louvre. This double glazed louvre is ideal for use in colder climates, or anywhere where higher levels of thermal insulation are required.

Elegantly Robust Clip
The IGLU Clip utilises the Breezway Stronghold System, granting superior blade retention with all the other benefits the Stronghold System offers. The stepped nature of the IGLU Blade allows for the internal glazing layer to be retained within the clip, while the outer glazing layer finishes flush with the clip. This allows for a completely flat aesthetic to the outside of the window.

Frameless Glazing
Breezway Altair IGLU Blades do not have thermally compromising aluminium framing. Instead, the blades are capped top and bottom by rubber blade-to-blade seals, embedded into the insulated glazing unit (IGU) sealant, with a clean ceramic print running the perimeter of each blade to conceal the IGU spacer, while still drawing the eye through to the view outside.

Acoustic Testing
The IGLU System has achieved a major improvement on our single glazed Altair Louvre Window, of Rw30.

Bushfire Testing
The IGLU System is the only double glazed louvre window to pass BAL-40 testing. The window passed testing in our Breezway Easyscreen Frame with Invisi-Gard screens. For more information on our Bushfire Ratings please click here.

WERS Ratings
The WERS ratings of the Breezway Altair IGLU Louvre in an Easyscreen Window System has been audited and achieves an 18% U-value improvement on the Single Glazed Altair Louvre with Low E Glass in an Easyscreen Frame and a 23% improvement on the Single Glazed Altair Louvre in a Timber Frame.
