Situated on a large block in the heart of Darwin’s northern suburbs, this architecturally designed home has been purpose-built to accommodate residents requiring High Physical Support and meets multiple Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) design categories.
Funded by the NT Government, this fully accessible property provides a comfortable, positive, and long-term living solution for eligible NDIS participants.
- High Physical Support & Robust Designs: Constructed using durable, resilient materials and accessible layouts, the home incorporates modern smart-home automation, including the Breezway Altair Easyscreen™ Louvre System, to maximise natural ventilation and occupant comfort.
- Private and Shared Living Spaces: Oversized bedrooms with private ensuites and dedicated courtyards are complemented by spacious communal areas, including a centrally located kitchen overlooking the landscaped gardens and swimming pool.
- Supported Independent Living (SIL): Residents are supported by Carpentaria’s experienced team, with tailored services designed to promote independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
The project brought together a team of highly qualified specialists who collaborated using evidence-based design principles to incorporate individual needs, the latest assistive technologies, and contemporary construction practices into a thoughtful and highly functional living environment.
